HOW TO DEFEAT COVID-19
Recently, we have all been affected by the rapid spread of the coronavirus. It is important at this time that we don't give into fear and continue to support local businesses when possible, while taking precautions to keep our neighbors and family members healthy. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has listed the following guidelines to stop the spread of the virus:
-
Regularly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
-
Avoid close contact with the sick, vulnerable, and strangers. Keep a distance of 6 feet from others when possible.
-
Clean and disinfect regularly touched surfaces daily (counter tops, doorknobs, toilets, sinks, phones, light switches, etc.). Use common EPA-registered household disinfectants.
-
If you are sick:
-
Remain home and away from others (except for medical attention).
-
Cover your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue.
-
Wash your hands after coughing or sneezing.
-
Wear a face mask if interacting with others.
